EDUR Industry 4.0

We create efficient, transparent and flexible processes by providing every employee with the information he or she needs for his daily business directly at the personal workplace. Thereby we strengthen self-responsibility and motivation of every single employee towards a long-lasting EDUR success story. This future oriented project is funded by the Schleswig-Holstein State Program Economics 2014-2020 from the European Regional Development Fund (EFDF).

EDUR has kicked off digitization by implementing an ERP-System for its commercial processes already years ago. However, processes and data management in production remained largely excluded and independent from this ERP-System. The picture in production as a whole is characterized by media disruption.

The project aims at the integration of several existing and future data sources as well the provision of relevant data at the respective workplaces in digital format. Therefore existing media disruption will be eliminated and working with up-to-date database will be ensured at all workplaces. This will guarantee an increase of efficiency while maintaining constant quality especially within the production processes. The company’s information flow will be significantly improved and redesigned in a more transparent way.
