Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival
Since its inception in 1986, the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival (SHMF) has been among the most spectacular international cultural events in the world. Year after year, it has fascinated visitors from near and far with its high-class, international soloists and orchestras as well as with its special venues during the summer months.
CON SPIRITO
The concert series CON SPIRITO of the Philharmonic Orchestra Kiel has committed themselves for more than 10 years to innovative concert formats with great success. The array of experiments, with the target to make new audiences curious, ranges from crossover projects to live accompaniment of silent and feature films to the linkage of various art forms such as poetry and music in the Philharmonic Poetry Slam.
Ballet academy of the Kiel theatre
As one of the three academies of the Kiel Theatre e.V, the ballet academy offers professional ballet training at a high level. For many years the Kiel Theatre aims to pool their activities in the children and youth area and thus carry on the idea of cultural education of the youth.
